Fortnite players can now jump into matches instantly through Discord, thanks to a new GeForce NOW-powered demo from Nvidia and Epic Games. The feature was revealed at Gamescom 2025, marking the first time a major game is fully playable within Discord without requiring a download.
Fortnite Becomes First “Play Instantly” Title on Discord
The new feature allows users to launch Fortnite directly inside the Discord app using a “Try a Game” button. After linking an Epic Games account, players can stream Fortnite for up to 30 minutes without downloading the game client.
